Happy and Healthy

Our animals spend their entire life with us on pasture, eating the best grass, clover, and alfalfa we can offer. We work to minimize stress and fear and treat them with the respect they deserve. Our animals are never confined to a feedlot and are allowed to freely roam their pasture at all times.

Healthy animals mean healthy meat. We feed organic and no-spray hay in the winter and do not feed grain or other non-grass based feeds as finishers. By providing a healthy and clean environment from the start we can reduce the need for chemicals and antibiotics reserving them for last resort treatments.

We can be found most Saturdays at Riverwalk Market Fair in Northfield MN from 9am-1pm May through October.

With over 100 acres in Organic and Transitional Hay Production near Northfield MN we’ve got lots to offer. Our available mixes include 50-50 grass-alfalfa, 90-10 alfalfa-grass, 70-30 grass-alfalfa, and other one-off cuts. We send out samples for nearly all our hay so we can share the feed value and composition with customers. Check our Hay and Forage page for current and upcoming availability.
